Mardi Gras by the Sea Flip Flop Parade
This year’s Oak Island Mardi Gras by the Sea will feature a “reverse parade” along East Dolphin Drive.
Beginning at the intersection with Middleton Ave, participant floats will be stationary along East Dolphin Drive as spectators in vehicles drive past them to ensure social distancing.
Participants and spectators alike are encouraged to wear their best Mardi Gras outfit!
The parade will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021 from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM, starting at Middleton Ave and moving eastward along E. Dolphin Drive.
